Single and double-sided printing on HP  Laserjet printers[1]  are controlled via an Esc sequence sent to the printer.

<ESC>&l0S           Simplex
<ESC>&l1S           Duplex, long edge  binding (11”)
<ESC>&l2S           Duplex, short edge  binding (8,5”)

The following printer form is currently  defined for landscape printing:

HP_L_LASER
Landscape printing on single side of  paper.

If there’s a need for double-sided and  landscape printing, a new setup module has been inserted in  SYS$LIBRARY:SYSDEVCTL[2]:

 HP_L_D_LASER

Landscape printing on double sides of  paper
